The 29th finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity was held on Sunday, January 31. As every year, we play with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity to the end of the world and one day more. This time, in addition to donating the Famed OPTIMA operating table and Famed NEXO hospital bed to the foundation, we supported the activities of the local headquarters in Węgierska Górka.
This year, the money collected during the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity finale will be donated to the purchase of medical equipment for pediatric laryngology, otolaryngology and head diagnostics departments. The staff from Węgierska Górka plays loudly with the Orchestra every year, and its activities are known throughout the region. This year we too decided to support the collecting volunteers with warm drinks and a meal.
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity finale is one of the largest events organized in the region. Local government authorities are involved in cooperation with the finale, as well as many private individuals, local companies, artists and enthusiasts who donate items for auction, help organize it and bid themselves. This generates a lot of positive energy, and we are happy to be able to support it in a real way. This year’s winter is not the coldest, nevertheless, staying outdoors for a long time, it is worthwhile, for the sake of health, which we all value so much, to warm up, drink or eat something warm from time to time. We thought that this is the way to help the volunteers who are engaged for our common good.
We are playing with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity until the end of the world and one day longer.
