Famed Żywiec closes 2025 with a 21% increase in sales

The past year 2025 was highly successful for Famed Żywiec and confirmed the company’s consistently implemented strategy of dynamic growth. In 2025, the company generated revenues exceeding PLN 136 million, recording a year-on-year increase of over 20% compared to 2024 and continuing the positive growth trend seen in previous years. Growth was driven by both domestic and international markets. The highest revenues were generated in the Middle East and North Africa, Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), and Poland, which—similarly to previous years—remained the company’s key growth regions.

Record sales of operating tables and new products

Particularly dynamic growth was recorded in the operating table segment. The company achieved record sales levels, while production volume was more than 40% higher than in the previous year. A major product milestone was the launch of the new ICU bed Famed NOBILIS, designed in response to the needs of developing markets as a robust, functional and cost-effective solution for intensive care units.

– It was an excellent year in which we combined strong growth in sales and profitability with tangible product development, significant investments in technology, expanded production capacity and global expansion. We are growing several times faster than the market, consistently strengthening our position as one of the leading suppliers of solutions for operating theatres and intensive care units – says Marek Suczyk, President of the Management Board.

Medical equipment manufacturer Famed Żywiec expands global sales

During the year, the company expanded its sales network to new markets, including Australia, Iceland and Mauritania, increasing its global sales reach to 127 countries worldwide. In 2025, three new Reinsberg offices were also opened—Reinsberg being the international group of which Famed is a part—covering Asia-Pacific, South Asia, and the Middle East and North Africa. Their role is to further develop sales and build local distribution structures.

Wzrost sprzedaży w Polsce i Europie

In Poland, sales increased by 27%, both in the company’s own product portfolio and in the medical imaging segment, where the company acts as a strategic partner of GE Healthcare in this part of Europe. Europe remains one of the fastest-growing regions, with sales up by 41%, driven by particularly strong results in the Czech Republic and Romania. In the Middle East, sales grew by 24%, supported by a successful central tender in Tunisia and a strong, stable position in Egypt, Jordan and Morocco.

Production – process improvements and automation

Alongside the dynamic growth in sales in 2025, the company implemented a programme of improvements in the production area. Its objective was to increase efficiency, improve quality, and make better use of available resources. Changes were introduced in the mattress manufacturing process, and the automation of tasks previously performed manually was continued. The improvements also covered the assembly of operating tables — a new work organisation model and streamlined internal logistics made it possible to shorten lead times, improve quality control, and increase production flow.

R&D – technology development and portfolio expansiono

In 2025, the R&D department focused on the parallel development of products, accessories and manufacturing technologies. As emphasized by Michał Grossy, R&D Director at Famed, combining innovation with a production-oriented mindset was key:

– Our goal was to ensure that new solutions not only expanded the portfolio, but were designed from the outset with quality, repeatability and serviceability in mind.

This approach included the development of new designs—most notably the Famed X-Line™ operating table range—as well as work on orthopedic and arthroscopic accessories, materials, ergonomics and process standardization. Alongside the development of sales and products, the company continued to invest heavily. In 2025, capital expenditures amounted to nearly PLN 5 million and covered production, R&D, infrastructure and IT. Employment increased by several dozen positions, mainly in production, quality, service and research and development.

Investments and prospects for further growth

Famed Żywiec’s financial position remains stable, and the outlook for further growth is very positive. In the coming year, the company plans to continue its dynamic development, particularly in emerging markets. Two major product launches in the areas of operating tables and hospital beds, along with further investments in research and development, will be key growth drivers.
