As a Polish medical equipment manufacturer, Famed \u017bywiec has had another successful year, both in financially and in terms of business development. At the just-concluded Arab Health, Famed\u2019s electro-hydraulic operating tables equipped with an extremely precise control system attracted a lot of attention from visitors. Presented in Dubai, the innovative solution of the \u017bywiec-based company provides an opportunity to increase the availability of medical procedures in developing countries, among others.<\/p>\n

Polish medical equipment manufacturer consistently strengthens its position in Europe<\/h3>\n

Famed \u017bywiec has recorded a clear increase in sales in key markets, with the total value for 2024 exceeding PLN 112.5 million. This represents an increase of 18 per cent compared to 2023.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The results clearly show that we have had another year of dynamic growth. We have met our sales target, crossing the magic barrier of PLN 100 million in revenue. This is an increase of several million, accompanied by an increase in margin and EBIDTA. We skilfully combine functionality and a high level of technology with offering products at good prices. This translates into the growing popularity of Polish medical equipment worldwide, allowing us to compete effectively with global medical brands<\/em> – comments Marek Suczyk, president of Famed \u017bywiec.<\/p>\n

In Poland, Famed \u017bywiec is the second most frequently selected supplier in public tenders in the segments of hospital beds and operating tables and third in the category of radiology equipment. The Polish medical equipment manufacturer has a more than 20 per cent share in the domestic market. In Europe, it has seen growth of 28 per cent, and collectively in the countries of the Old Continent, it sells 44 per cent of its products.<\/p>\n

\u2013 We are consistently building a strong position in Europe so that we are independent of the influence of geopolitics on the market situation. Compared to other producers, our additional advantage is the concentration of production in Poland<\/em> – explains Marek Suczyk.\u00a0\u00a0Marek Suczyk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Famed \u017bywiec also recorded very good results in the Middle East (revenues +55 per cent y\/y) and in the rest of Asia.<\/p>\n

\u2013A very pleasant surprise is China, which in recent years has strongly promoted its own producers, where we recorded a more than double increase compared to the previous year. Overall, exports account for 54 per cent of our sales, and Guatemala and Northern Ireland have just been added to the list of over 120 markets where Famed \u017bywiec is present<\/em> – says Marek Suczyk<\/strong>. – Both Guatemala and Brazil, where we appeared a little earlier, are good predictors for further expansion in this region. South America is a market similar to the Middle East in many respects, and we have been very successful there<\/em> – adds the president of Famed \u017bywiec.<\/p>\n

Medical Equipment from Poland Conquers the World<\/h3>\n

At this year\u2019s edition of Arab Health (held at the end of January), one of the largest global MedTech events, visitors\u2019 interest focused on Famed\u2019s operating tables with an extremely precise control system. The result of the work of Famed\u2019s R&D department is the ability to set the position of the electrohydraulic table with a precision of up to 0.5 mm and 0.1\u00b0. This is crucial in the case of precision surgery, and until now has only been possible in electric designs.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The new table control system attracted a lot of interest from surgeons who had the opportunity to see it in Dubai. We presented there an electrohydraulic operating table, the functionality of which can now be confidently compared to top electro-mechanical designs. Such complex designs use precise, yet expensive mechanisms that are more difficult for servicing, such as electric motors paired with gears. Famed\u2019s innovation will increase the availability of certain medical procedures for patients worldwide.<\/p>\n

\u2013 New generation sensors, advanced technical solutions and the latest software have been installed in the electrohydraulic table, which will radically increase the availability of precise, easy-to-service operating tables. Until now, especially in emerging markets, this has been limited due to the high cost of purchasing equipment offering this type of solution. Polish medical equipment manufacturer invests in production and uses green energy<\/h3>\n

In 2024, the company\u2019s capital expenditure exceeded PLN 10 million. Apart from the production area, it included the assembly of a photovoltaic installation, the power of which makes it possible to satisfy up to 30 per cent of Famed\u2019s electricity needs. The Polish medical equipment manufacturer has been operating according to the principles of Clean Production and Circular Economy for years.<\/p>\n
