The operating table in the operating theatre is there to help you do your work. Due to its excellent control parameters, the selection of appropriate position is simple and convenient. High quality batteries made in fCharge™ technology ensure as many as 30 working cycles. For your peace of mind, the remote control is equipped in battery charge level indicator displaying the percentage of the maximum value.

Orthopaedic attachment
Orthopaedic attachment (SO-12), made of acid-resistant stainless steel, is mounted on the table top, and, along with the top, it is equipped in lateral and longitudinal tilt and height adjustment. It allows intra-operative monitoring using the C-arm and provides the surgeon with convenient access to the patient.
Gynaecological position
Gynaecological position using the WS-28.7 gynaecological attachment and WS-05.5 knee rests. The table is additionally equipped with a bowl for physiological fluids (WS-28.7 or WS-29.7).
High resistance of steel to corrosion protects the table from damage in the event of contamination with body fluids.
Neurosurgical attachment
The Famed OPTIMA operating table can be equipped with a specialist headrest for neurosurgical and intracranial operations. The headrest (e.g. WS-21.5) is used to support the head in supinated and pronated position. The design provides a two- or one-plane adjustment, according to the operator’s preference. The table is compatible with DORO® / Mayfield attachments.
Translucency and access for the C-arm
Longitudinal travel of the table top and asymmetrical position of the table column allow the use of C-arm during intra-operative patient monitoring.
6-segment table top
The Famed OPTIMA operating table can be equipped with several types of table tops, including orthopaedic table top, 5-segment table top or (as in the picture) 6-segment top with an additional division of the leg section. In the case of 6-segment worktop, leg segment adjustment takes place in the range of + 90°/-90 °, and the table top length is 2135 mm.

Famed OPTIMA operating table is intended for supporting the patient during procedures and operations in the fields of general surgery, vascular surgery, cardiosurgery, neurosurgery, urology, gynaecology, proctology, laryngology, ophthalmology, endoscopy, laparoscopy, traumatic surgery, oncology, dentistry, plastic surgery and other. Thanks to the use of accessories (the catalogue can be found at the bottom of the page), you can easily choose the optimal functionality for you.
All steel elements are made of the best stainless steel on the market, the AISI 316L using the InteliProtectPlus™ technology – electropolished steel guarantees easy disinfection and helps to
protect against dust and dirt. The mobile base has a lock activated by a foot lever (in the version with the “T” base the locking takes place by means of four mechanically extendable footrests, in the version with a base on large wheels, there is a central wheel locking system. In addition, the base with large wheels has a steering wheel for straight movement).
The big advantage of the Famed OPTIMA table is the possibility of switching the headrest and the footrest section, the lack of transverse beams in the back area (great imaging results in cardiac surgery) and the pelvis of the patient (a plus in urological and gynaecological procedures). The low base profile offers unobstructed access for medical equipment.

bbSafe™ wired remote control
Wired remote control with 2.8” screen in IPS technology, which enables quick and precise change of position and real-time preview of setting values. For patient safety, we have designed the bbSafe™ system – triple protection against accidental change of position and a warning about high energy consumption. Following an adjustable idle time, the remote control automatically switches to standby mode. In addition, there is a two-step process of changing the bed’s position – the operator first presses a button corresponding to the category of movement, and then, in the next step, enters information about its direction. Moreover, the bbSafe™ system warns the user when the movement of the table puts a heavy load on the battery cells – this allows you to predict the power consumption and plan battery charging accordingly. The remote control meets the IP54 standard.
Wireless remote control - rCover™
The wireless remote control for the operating table is an option for the facilities which require maximum convenience and usability. This controller offers all the features of a wired remote control, a powerful battery pack and a docking station with a wireless charger. It is equipped in bbSafe™ and rCover™ technology – built-in protection against interference with other wireless devices that work in the vicinity of the operating room. Part of the system is also a special table and the remote-control pairing procedure and appropriately calculated signal power limit.
Integrated operating room
The operating table can also be integrated into the hybrid operating room. This lets SU-05 gain additional control options, such as:
- touch screen built into the wall,
- control with operator gestures interpreted via a special monitor.
All additional control systems allow smooth and precise product control also from long distances, which allows for a more efficient and flexible model of work.
pDetach ™ - removable panel on the column
Optional control of the operating table located on the column. This additional control module is a removable panel that can be detached from the column and operated like a traditional remote control. It provides full functionality in setting the table position. The panel has a convenient pDetach™ magnetic mechanism, which protects it against getting accidentally brought down, while providing a simple and quick disassembly.
Alternative AlterSafe™ drive
The alternative drive ensures operation of all electric table adjustment options also in the event of control circuit failure or essential power supply failure. Tables with the alternative AlterSafe™ technology drive have two independently operating drive systems: electro-hydraulic and mechanical-hydraulic. The alternative mechanical-hydraulic AlterSafe™ system allows for the operation of all the functions available through the electrical system. Individual table functions are selected using a lever placed in the table base and are carried out using a foot pump.
Foot control
Optional WS-36.5 foot switch provides foot control of the following functions: “zero” position, table top height adjustment, lateral tilt, Trendelenburg and anti-Trendelenburg position, change of table top orientation.
VARIETY OF POSITIONS
Quick and easy table control enable you to choose a preferred position.
Trendelenburg position
- Used to decrease the risk of shock in patient,
- provides the surgeon with easy access to pelvis (better isolation of the organs of the abdomen than in classic position)
Reverse-Trendelenburg position
- It can be used to prevent patient’s choking,
- prevents complications during head and neck surgery
Lateral tilt
- It gives surgeons better access to lateral parts of the body and some internal organs,
- also used to reduce pressure in obstetric procedures

Electrical position adjustment system allows for the change of top height, inclination in lateral tilt, inclination in Trendelenburg and anti-Trendelenburg positions.

Base type
Choose the type of mobile base for your table
"H" base with large wheels
The version that guarantees high stability and high table mobility. In addition, the base with large wheels has a steering wheel for straight movement).
"T" base
Implementation of the base in the technology with lifted feet and smaller wheels. It guarantees a large amount of free space between the base and the top, and easier disinfection.
