SAFETY
PROVEN IN PRACTICE
Siderails protect the patient over a length of 1500 mm. They have no sharp edges and no dangerous points that could pinch fingers. The high maximum load (SWL) of 250 kg allows for safe transport of even heavier patients with the necessary equipment. Antibacterial nanotechnology with pSilver™ nanoparticles additives in varnish, plastic elements and in the mattress cover facilitates disinfection and reduces the number of bacteria. Stable, large wheels facilitate transport even on rough surfaces, ensuring full stability of the stretcher.

FUNCTIONALITY
The stretcher is compatible with mobile X ray equipment (bedside X-ray, C-arm). Optionally, it is possible to mount tunnels for X-ray cassettes. Height adjustment levers available on both sides allow the patient to be supervised while changing the height at the same time. The stretcher is compatible with a number of accessories, such as a shelf for medical monitors, a fifth wheel, a holder for an oxygen bottle, and others. An optional mattress with safety straps and handles are also available for patient transport between products. We also have a choice of an Easy to use two-segment (WP-02.0) or three-segment (WP-02.1) mattress support pallet for easy positioning. The large-capacity basket for patient’s belongings, located in the base, allows you to keep order.
HIGH
ERGONOMICS
Zero gap transfer between the bed and the stretcher when moving the patient – minimizes the strain on hospital staff and reduces the risk of falls. The siderails lower not only below the mattress, but also below the stretcher mattress platform itself – this facilitates safe sliding off the mattress when standing up and protects the rails against damage. There are as many as two pairs of handles to guide the stretcher through hospital corridors. Additionally there is another ergonomic push handle in the backrest. The directional wheels and the optional 5th wheel make maneuvering extremely easy, even with heavy patients.

Zero gap transfer
The space between the strecher and the Famed Żywiec hospital beds is practically eliminated. SafeDrop™ siderails fit perfectly into our bed siderails, which allows for the safe transfer of the patient from the stretcher to the bed or other medical equipment.
Contoured and streamlined design
Rounded shape of the individual components of the SafeDrop™ siderails design ensures easy and quick disinfection. The absence of sharp edges and pinch points protects patients and staff from injury.
The construction of SafeDrop™ siderails positively passed the above-standard tests for a hospital stretcher – SPARK was tested according to the PN-EN 60601-2-52 norm. Moreover, the siderails withstand a vertical pressure of over 100 kilograms. Laboratory tests also included impacts from various sides, proving the stability and strength of the structure. SafeDrop™ siderails drop below the mattress platform along their entire length, without creating any obstacle for the patient when leaving the stretcher. Thanks to the well thoug out structure, the space between the stretcher and a hospital bed during transfer has been reduced practically to zero. The Famed SPARK siderails perfectly cooperate with the siderails of our beds. This ensures greater patient safety with less physical workload for the staff. SafeDrop™ siderails can be lowered with only one hand and the contoured design makes cleaning much faster.

Cooperation with C-arm
A large amount of space between the base and the mattress platform allows the C-arm to be used.
Tunnels for X-ray cassette
The optional X-ray tunnels are located directly under the mattress platform (the one in the backrest section is accessed from the front of the stretcher, in the remaining segments we can insert the cassette from the side). The tunnels are compatible with standard sizes of X-ray cassettes (both film and digital).
Transfer mattress (option)
Mattress with transfer handles, ergonomic cutouts and skids on the bottom will facilitate transfer. The mattress is translucent to X-ray.
You can easily get to the radiology room thanks to well designed chassis or use mobile x-ray thanks to translucent mattress platform. You can even use C-arm – in all those situations SPARK will be your faithful partner in everyday work. You can also order a version with x-ray tunnels and use radiographic cassettes.
EASY TO MANEUVER AND OPERATE

Two pairs of guide handles (two of them as an option)
Famed SPARK has two pairs of handles to guide the strecher through the hospital corridors. Two handles on the leg end side and two handles next to backrest (option). This allows for easy manoeuvring of the stretcher, even when transporting heavier patients (up to 250 kg). In addition, the backrest provides another ergonomic handle to push the stretcher.
Wheels locks
Large wheel locks, located on both sides of the stretcher on the patient’s leg side, allow the chassis to be unlocked and locked from three sides. Two more lock levers on the head end side are available (option). This facilitates the work of the medical staff and allows them to focus on the patient.
Large wheels
Large wheels with a diameter of 200 mm and high ground clearance ensure stability and increase the mobility of the strecher. This enables fast and safe movement through hospital corridors and patient transport even on uneven surfaces.
Directional wheels
They make it easier to navigate long corridors and tight turns and allows the strecher to be driven even by one person. The directional wheels are activated by the wheels lock lever.
Optional fifth wheel
The fifth wheel is a great feature that makes the strecher even easier to drive and maneuver.
The design, proven by thousands of users, uses modern operating methods and solutions to facilitate the mobility of the strecher. Large wheels, a directional wheels or the possibility of using the fifth wheel enable safe and fast transport of the patient through hospital corridors.

Mattress with durable anti-bacterial cover in two versions to choose
Famed SPARK mattress
As a standard, Famed SPARK is equipped with a 80 mm thick, black mattress with a durable, antibacterial cover ensuring high resistance to disinfectants and waterproofness. Filled with T35 foam, the mattress is a guarantee of comfort for the patient. Cut-outs in the corners and four-point Velcro® mounting system ensure easy handling for medical staff. Cut-outs in the foam reduce pressure on the spine and prevent deformations during adjustment of segments.
Transport mattress WW-14
An optional mattress designed for patient transfer from stretcher to bed and other medical equipment. In addition to the features and characteristics of the standard mattress for Famed SPARK, WW-14 also has durable handles and safety straps for safe patient transfer. A special skids on the bottom of the mattress makes it easy to move, which enables even one person to perform a patient transfer.
