FIRST
Famed Freya is a bed with a stable, columnar structure. It will allow a woman in labour to take any delivery position. The rails can be folded below the level of the bed, which makes getting off the bed easier. Plastic parts are made of materials with antimicrobial properties in pSilver™ technology, and mattresses are made of antibacterial fabrics, with glued seams. All accessories are mounted in a reliable and stable manner, providing good support during childbirth.

The Famed Freya delivery bed can be quickly adjusted to its form, and the transformation from a hospital bed can be completed in a matter of seconds. It is wide and comfortable, and during delivery it will allow a woman in labour test various positions comfortably, including a squatting position with a handle, half-sitting position, different variants of sitting position, rear position, horizontal position, side position or standing position.

Famed Freya is a delivery bed and a hospital bed - all in one.
Safety

Science has provided substantial evidence that most frequent contact with the mother is crucial for the development of newborns (ScienceDaily, UNICEF, WHO, American Academy of Pediatrics, Acta Paediatrica Scandinavica). Taking this as an inspiration, we created a new delivery room environment. It provides the mother with dignified and safe conditions for delivery, as well as a high comfort of rest. This is reflected in the combination of the hospital bed and labour bed function and the possibility for the mother and her child to stay together in the same room after childbirth.
The dual functionality is possible due to independent control systems (supervisor, wired remote control, external and internal control panels) and a wide range of accessories. Changing the position or configuration of the product is possible within a few seconds. The operation of the Freya bed is intuitive and does not require the use of force, so it can be effectively operated even by one person. Noteworthy are the knee rests, which, owing to the innovative ball mechanism, guarantee an instant and precise adjustment of a delivery position.

The use of both Freya labour bed and the OVO baby bed in one room allows to create optimal conditions for the mother and the baby after childbirth. A newborn can be placed close to the mother, virtually at her fingertips, resting in a secure bed, lying on a specially contoured mattress. Not only can the mother change the position of the bed, but she can also safely transfer the child to her side as well as put the baby back in the OVO. None of these activities requires support from medical personnel. Transparent OVO walls ensure permanent eye contact, which calms both the mother and the child. Comfortable resting conditions for both of them can be further enhanced by customizing options. Freya can be equipped with beautiful graphics on the side handrails and head and foot boards, while the OVO cot can have the upper part of the walls decorated. As a result, an obstetric ward can be as unique as its guests.
